The boardgameBuilder wiki
In the tool you build a game from blocks, each one a single part of a game, such as drafting cards or a hidden goal. It does not write its feedback when you ask; it looks it up. Every sentence comes from an entry written in advance, about what a combination of blocks tends to produce. There are 1,590 of these entries.
This month the example games in 66 of them were checked against BoardGameGeek’s tags, and some did not hold. One entry named Ticket to Ride as a game where nothing is hidden, but its rulebook has every player keep their destination tickets secret, so it came out.
So all of them are now on a public wiki, one page each. Anyone can read it. If you sign in with GitHub or Google, you can add a record to an entry: that you checked it against a source or tried it with people at a table, what you found, and how you know. Records stay under the names of the people who made them and are never added up into a score for an entry or a total for a person. You can also propose a change to an entry, or a new one; an editor reads each proposal before it goes up.
If you have made a game, even on paper, find two blocks you have used together and tell me whether their entry matches what happened at your table.
