Prayas Abhinav, based in Ahmedabad, is a dynamic educator and artist renowned for his inventive approach to art and design. Holding an Advanced Diploma in Experimental Media Arts from Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Sikkim Professional University, he has a diverse academic background. His career spans various prestigious institutions, including Anant National University, Karnavati University, and IIT Gandhinagar, where he has served as an Assistant Professor and Visiting Professor.

Prayas has an impressive portfolio of solo and group exhibitions, curatorial projects, and publications. His artistic journey includes fellowships such as the TED India Fellowship and residencies across the globe, from Tokyo to Vienna. His work often explores the intersection of art, technology, and society, evident in his installations at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and essays on gaming and digital culture.

A talented communicator, Prayas has contributed to several academic and artistic publications and curated significant projects like the “I Am Present” program at Roseate Hotels and the “Of Games” residency at Khoj International Artists’ Association.
